MISSION STATEMENT

The men and women of the Lumberton Township Police Department, as a local law enforcement agency, are here to secure and protect the quality of life of the residents of Lumberton Township and the citizens of the United States of America. Through a cooperative effort between all of us who live and work in this community, we will protect the liberties and freedoms established by our founding fathers and ensure that all people are treated fairly and impartially. We will see that those who threaten these liberties are brought to justice and that no individual's rights are violated. Through these efforts we hope to leave a safer and more secure community for our children's children.

Coyotes have been spotted in the area of Livingston and Crispin Roads. Residents are urged to call 9-1-1 immediately if you see a cioyote in your area. For more information on coyotes click here

Lumberton Township Police Department Crime Prevention Unit would like to remind Township residents and business owners of the following programs that are available to them.

Businesses are reminded to keep their alarm emergency numbers current. If you have had a change in emergency contact information, please notify the police department.

Residents are asked to please keep your address numbers clearly displayed at your home. Not only is this a township ordinance, it allows the police, fire, and emergency medical services to find your home quickly in the evnt of an emergency.
