The Recycling drop off Center has been moved to the Public Works Yard, 34 Municipal Drive. The Public Works Yard is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am till 11:00 am FOR RECYCLING DROP OFF ONLY (This will include all paper, cardboard, bottles & cans – TRASH, BULK ITEMS, WOOD, BRUSH, etc. WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED). The Public Works Yard is also open on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the Month from 7:30 am till 1:30 pm for recycling, bulk, trash, etc. drop off (except for July which is the 2nd and 3rd Saturday). If you have any questions please call the Township building at (609) 267-3217. The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining all Township-owned property including buildings & grounds, recreation parks, athletic fields, roads, drainage systems, street signs, sidewalks, vehicles and equipment. All collection of trash is coordinated thru Public Works. This department works very closely with officials of Burlington County in all areas of the State mandated recycling program.
 

We encourage you to label your recycle and trash containers with your house number or some other identifying marking, this will help locate your containers if they are missing.

PLEASE NOTE THAT TRASH AND BULK COLLECTION IN COUNTRY ESTATES IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY/HOA. PUBLIC WORKS DOES NOT PROVIDE THESE SERVICES.

BRUSH COLLECTION:

Brush is collected curbside and chipped by the Township. Brush is considered to be shrub and tree branches between 2 inches and 10 inches in diameter. Brush shall be stacked near the edge of the roadway with the cut ends all facing one direction.

Brush collection will be done on the third (3rd) full work week of the month on your regular trash day.

IMPORTANT: Put Material Out On Your Regular Collection Day

BULK TRASH COLLECTION SCHEDULE

Bulk Trash Collection will be done on the first (1st) full work week of the month on your regular trash day.

* If the first week of the month starts on ANY other day than a Monday, bulk trash will be collected the following week.

The above items will not be picked up or disposed of by the Township. The property owner shall make arrangements with a private company for their disposal. (Chapter 162 of the Lumberton Township Code Book)
