PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING

TOWNSHIP OF LUMBERTON

YEAR 2026 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION

TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS, GROUPS AND AGENCIES

On or before January 26, 2026, the Township of Lumberton intends to submit a request to the Burlington County Office of Community Development for Community Development Block Grant funds.  Prior to submitting its application for funds, the Township of Lumberton will conduct a public hearing.  The hearing will be held:

DATE:            January 24, 2026

TIME:            9:00 am

LOCATION:  Lumberton Township Municipal Court, 35 Municipal Drive, Lumberton, NJ 08048

PURPOSE:    This hearing will be held to afford interested parties the opportunity to review and     comment on site and accessibility improvements proposed at the Ridgeway A. Gaun Building to include, but not limited to, renovating the existing handicapped ramp and repaving of the parking lot that the Township of Lumberton will include in its application for Community Development funds.  Residents of the Township of Lumberton are invited to attend this hearing and comment during the public portion of the hearing.
