Lumberton’s Green Team is dedicated to guiding and assisting its residents, businesses, and local government in becoming a community that focuses on meeting the needs of the present, while preserving the resources available for current and future generations.

LUMBERTON TOWNSHIP – SUSTAINABLE JERSEY CERTIFIED!
Lumberton Township is excited to announce that for the first time in township history, we are Sustainable Jersey Certified in Bronze status.
Members from Lumberton Township’s Committee, Staff, Engineering Office, and Green Team were present at the Annual Luncheon to accept the award. Lumberton is now eligible to participate in Sustainable Jersey’s grant program, which has awarded over $8.6 million in funding to municipalities and school districts to support sustainability projects and initiatives.
